Epoxy Accelerator
E2U Epoxy Accelerator is a special additive for use with epoxies (100% Solids Epoxy, Epoxy 6150 & Moisture Vapor Barrier Epoxy) to accelerate the cure rate and allow for coating application at temperatures down to 35°F (2°C). E2U Epoxy Accelerator is an additive to be used for both pigmented and clear epoxies. NOTE: E2U Epoxy Accelerator greatly increases the cure rate of these systems, reducing both pot life and dry time.

PRODUCT DATA
Volumetric Ratio: single component Volumetric Solids: 85% Color: Clear Amber Application Temperature: 35°-90°F Thinning: Not Required Shelf Life: 12 months USDA Food & Beverage: Meets Req.
NOTE:
Accelerator will cause the Epoxy to solidify very rapidly not allowing any new coat to mechanically bond. When hard enough surface must be sanded and cleaned.
NOTE:
Never use this product in your topcoat epoxy or Clear epoxy. Accelerator “can” sometimes subtly change the color of your epoxy a shade or two and will also make it more susceptible to UV Light. E2U Accelerator was designed to be used in Base, Broadcast, or Build coats that will be completely be covered over by a full broadcast of flake, sand or quartz, or another coat of “un-accelerated” 100% Solids Pigmented Epoxy, or Pigmented Sealer.
MIXING
Prior to adding E2U Epoxy Accelerator, properly mix the Part A & Part B components according to the mixing instructions listed on the product data sheet. Accurately add one 16 ounce can of E2U Epoxy Accelerator, per 1.5 gallon of material. Continue agitation until thoroughly mixed. Note: Components should be above 50°F (10°C) prior to mixing.
NOTE
Curing time varies with surface temperature, air movement, humidity and film thickness. Components should be above 50°F (10°C) prior to mixing. For optimum application properties, the material temperature should be above 60°F (16°C).
CLEAN UP
Use Acetone for tool cleaning. Clean hands and exposed skin with a citrus-based hand cleaner.
WARNING! SLIP AND FALL PRECAUTIONS
OSHA and the American Disabilities Act (ADA) have now set enforceable standards for slipresistance on pedestrian surfaces. The current coefficient of friction required by ADA is .6 on level surfaces and .8 on ramps. E2U Flooring recommends the use of angular slip-resistant aggregate in all coatings or flooring systems that may be exposed to wet, oily or greasy conditions. It is the contractor and end users’ responsibility to provide a flooring system that meets current safety standards. E2U or its sales agents will not be responsible for injury incurred in a slip and fall accident. We believe this product complies with all other applicable state and federal laws and regulations governing manufacturing, distribution and intended use. User is solely responsible for the legal disposal of this container and/or its contents.
Handling Precautions
Use only with adequate ventilation. Appropriate cartridge-type respirator must be used during application in confined areas. Avoid contact with skin. Some individuals may be allergic to epoxy resin. Protective gloves and clothing are recommended.
